Another vital service is parasite prevention. Worms, fleas, ticks and other parasites can cause serious discomfort for your pet, and even lead to long-term issues like dermatitis or even damage to internal organs. In Ireland worms such as tapeworm and roundworm are major issues and so we recommend frequent antiparasitic treatments, there are many options available and depending on age, species and lifestyle there are different options and dosing frequencies recommended. Fleas are a parasite frequently seen and reported by owners, even a single flea can result in a severe infestation of both your pet and home and so prevention is key. Both indoor and outdoor pets can suffer from parasitic infections.
